Synopsis:
This project will be a compilation of seven songs. Each song corresponds to a segment of a dance performance. The task will be to create a fluid, homogeneous transition between the tracks that are intended to be mixed together.

Background:
The project was presented to us by a group of women who are performing in the emergency dance. The requested that we mix the music for their performance.

Intent:
To create a piece of music from the separate songs that will be analogous and complementary to the movement of the dancers and will aid the expression of the performance as a whole. The music is an integral accompaniment to the movement.

Our development:
The process of making this musical compilation will aid our development as artists as it will force us to listen critically to music. This process also requires us to bind the task of listening critically to the concept of movement, to create a cohesive experience.
