My final project will consist of ambient sounds with an evil bent. By ambient I mean atmospheric, moody souindscapes with little to no beat or rhythm, and by evil I mean dark, heavy, melencholic.

I plan on creating the piece on my home computer using the program Acid and Sound Forge and Rebirth, I may possibly employ the use of an ensoniq ASR-X sampler and a microphone. Most of my sounds will come from other CD's, the internet, Records, found sounds around the house and my own body/voice. I will use the computer to sequence my sounds and distort and modify them.

With my evil ambient music I hope to communicate the darker more somber side of the emotional self and give a passing entrance into a world of dissillusionment and fear.

Making this piece of music will aid me in my development as an artist because it will allow me to grow with and understand my computer more and how I relate to the music it assists me in making.

The actual end product (hopefully) will be on CD and if not CD then cassette tape, the sounds will all be moody, atmospheric, droning, elongated and sad, any words used will be samples of pre-recorded work which I will somehow incorporate into my own piece.

My piece will start out slow progress to more slowness and end very very slowly.
